I got back from our flyball trip to Laramie, Wyoming today. It was a fun trip. I went with the Mum, Muffit, Chase, the nail-trimming flyball captain lady (who isn’t too evil really) and her Jack Russel Terrier, Chase Me. He was cute and I wanted to play with him. I kept play bowing in the hotel but he didn’t want to play! He is weird! And I did bite the lady on the but and that was fun and we all laughed!

This first picture is of me being really pretty outside. My Aunt Mimi from Colorado, she took some pictures of me. She has a new baby puppy too, a little aussie girl named Cue, and I wanted to play with her too! I will see about posting some of her pictures too. She is puppy baby so didn’t need adult diaper, but she could have used puppy ones!

The flyball tournament was loud and noisy too. But we were inside and this picture on the right is me in my crate that was on top of my brother Chase’s crate. Chase is the only one who knows how to do flyball yet. Me and Muffit don’t, but we are gonna learn and have fun and run around and hop like bunnies! Well okay maybe just I hop like a bunny but it’s fun anyway.

Then this picture to the left is of me in front of the flyball racing lanes. There were lots of dogs barking and making noise and loud sounds behind me so I wanted to keep my ears back to listen to them instead of pose for the camera. But usually I like to pose for the camera.

We had fun though… out back of the hotel there was this really big field and the Mum let me and Muffit off the leashes! Chase always gets off the leashes, but me and Muffit kinda get distracted so she likes to keep us close. But we got to play with Kibu, a fun black dog on our flyball team. And run around and run around in the weeds. And there was this super fun stream back there too, and we all went and splashed in the water! The Mum said YUCK when we came out because… well, my front legs were covered with back goo. We laughed! But then we didn’t laugh when we had to have a bath when we got home. Yuck! The Mum said we stank!

It was a long drive home, about six hours, and we slept. I pushed Muffit and Chase out of the way in the back seat of the car and got most of the room myself, since that is how collie girls are supposed to be. And border collie boys are just supposed to let us. So they did.

And this last picture is of me sleeping… though I’m kinda giving the Mum the evil eye ’cause she is snapping a picture instead of letting me sleep. I like to sleep in the afternoons. But not in the mornings. I got the Mum and the nail-trimming lady up nice and early this morning, with nice big yaps and plays!

Woo Hoo! I get to go on another trip today! I’m excited! The Mum is taking me, Muffit and Chase to a placed called Laramie Wyoming. I don’t know where it is, but Chase gets to do flyball there. The Mum says we have to sit nice in the car for about six hours before we get there. And we don’t get to leave until this afternoon… so I’m gonna nap at home while the Mum does some work then comes home to get us again.

Our car has got a ton of stuff on it because not many people are going, and our car is one of the only ones that can carry the boxes and crates and stuff. But the Mum says not to worry, because even if we have to go a bit slow, we will get there and we will have fun.

It’ll be Muffit’s first trip to stay in a hotel. I sure hope he lets us all sleep! We get to stay with the evil-nail trimming lady and her Jack Russel Terrier Chase Me. I like Chase Me! I hope the lady doesn’t want to trim our toes, though! Yuck! If she does, I’ll try to give her mesothelioma!

Today the Mum put me to work. She said if I’m going to wake her up at 6am (why does she want to sleep anyway? Sleep is boring) by jumping on her in bed, then biting her butt, then running around the yard with the other dogs, that she wants to harness my energy and have me do stuff.

Well that’s just fine because I like to work, and I like to learn! So the Mum put up these things she called weave polls, and they are 2×2 weaves, and I’m supposed to walk through them. She says I don’t really go fast enough, so she put my new mat on the other side. I love to run to my mat and so I go faster to go through the weave polls to get to my mat to get my treat and lay down!

We didn’t take too long, the Mum was needing some Festina watches though to see how long we went. ‘Cause the Mum gets carried away and then I get tired and don’t want to do as well as I was doing.

But after we did the weave poll and mat fun things, then I got to go into the house and guess what? I am smart and I opened a cupboard in the kitchen! Look what I found! This is a chewie uppie thing that is made of chewie uppie materials just for dogs. And the Mum says well, if it won’t hurt me, then I can have it. And so I chewied it up and it was lots of fun! So I had the Mum take a picture of me after I chewed it to shreds. I love to chew stuff up!

Not much has been going on at our house lately. The Mum is taking some time off of dog training this week. Well, except for Levi who gets to go out twice a day, every day, to work on his dumbbell. He’s going to be in an obedience trial in August and the Mum wants him to do a good job. The Mum has been kinda busy. But we keep ourselves busy anyway, playing and barking and running around the house. And eating and chewing and just having lots of fun!

This picture is of my when I was doing agility practice last week. This is called the Dog Walk It. And I went over it, and the Mum said it’s a full sized one and some dogs might be afraid of it because it’s so high, but I wasn’t afraid! I really like it, it was a lot of fun! I have to remember all the stuff I am learning. If I can’t remember, I could buy memory to help me remember! But I’m smart, so I probably won’t need to.

I want to do more agilities!

We are all tired today, and me included, so I haven’t replied to any comments, but I will in a couple days! The Mum was building jumps in the back yard and it was hot… and, the yuckiest thing happened, I got a bath! I hate baths and I try to get out and keep my feet on the edge of the tub. But there is a sliding glass door and the Mum lathers me up and it’s awful but I can’t get out. ugh.

But I dried quick. And Muffit had a bath too, and he also dried quick. Since it’s the desert here and hot and dry, we dry quick so that’s good! Not like back in Houston, where I used to live, where it was icky and humid all the time.

Anyway, so we laid around a lot and goofed out in the back yard and didn’t need any diet pills because yesterday we did a lot. And we ate a lot today too and the Dad fed us and he feeds us more than the Mum so we like that!

Now I’m gonna go sleep some more to get rested up so I can do some butt biting in the morning!

Today the Mum took me, Chase and Muffit to a park where we got to bark. I didn’t bark much, though. She said it was a get together thing called Bark in the Park. Muffit barked a lot! Chase barked a little. And I barked some too when we were all in our crates in our shade tent and people walked by. ‘Cause when Muffit and Chase bark I have to bark too, I can’t let them bark more than me!

There were lots of fun dogs there, and a pond where Chase got to go swimming. I don’t really like to swim, I just like to wade, so the Mum had me wait in the crate while Chase got to swim.

The Mum tried to get me to stay in one spot for pictures, but I like to move. She says someday soon I’ll learn that staying is the best, and I’ll get treats for it… but now I kinda get a little nervous still and so I wiggle and stand up and move. And there was no mat for me to sit on and so I didn’t know where I should stay.

But in these pictures you can see the tents behind me and all the people. There were lots of people with treats too, and me, Muffit and Chase got to run around a little bit, but not too much. Chase got to do flyball and he got to do obedience work with the Mum. I got to walk around and eat treats, and Muffit got to walk around too, and the Mum tried to get Muffit to watch her instead of everything going on. But he likes to watch everything going on. But he gets really nervous about it so the Mum says it would be better if he watched her instead.

Anyway, it was a fun day and it’s nap time, now, ’cause I’m tired! It took the Mum a long time to pack up all our crates and the tent and gear and stuff. She needs some custom boxes to load everything in to put it in the car. Us three got to wait and bark in the car while she was packing, that was fun too!

Whoops! I said I was going to post this yesterday, but then I didn’t. It was cause the Mum worked from home all day and hogged the laptop, so I couldn’t get on. She can be such a hog sometimes! But she’s kinda fun anyway. Then she had to slather her face with acne cream to get rid of some red spots… dang I’m glad I don’t have to do that!

This is me coming out of the tunnel doesn’t it look fun! I really like it. At first I wasn’t too sure about these things, what was in there… they can be kinda smelly and sometimes wet. But so far no boogie men or dogs or cats have been inside. They are empty and so I run in one end, and out the other end, then shake off and wag my tail! And I hardly even have to duck down to fit. My brother Levi has to duck a bit. And my brother Chase, well, he kinda flies through them so doesn’t touch anything. But me, I’m the perfect size to fit!

Tonight the Mum is taking me and Chase to the obedience lady ring place. Will be fun I get to sniff at all the Bernese Mountain Dogs though I don’t get to play with them. I do get yummy treats, though. Levi is staying home ’cause he’s limping on his back right leg. So Chase gets to come instead. I love to hang out with Chase! But I love to hang out with Levi too! I wish they both could come!

On Monday the Mum took Chase and me out to the agility training area. Levi stayed home because the Mum wasn’t sure he was feeling well or not. But that’s okay, ’cause when levi stays home, that means more time for me!

So the Mum and my Aunt Obedience Trainer and me, we had fun on the A Frame Tower Thingy they call it. The Mum thinks I’m so delicate because I’m a small collie. But I am not, I am a tough collie! Though the Mum is kinda dumb because she didn’t get a picture of my tail. And My tail was up, which means I was happy and having lots of fun.

So over the top of the A Thingy Frame I went, and down the other side, and I touched all the whole thing. I guess touching the yellow is important but many dogs forget, they get so excited. And so the Mum put a fun mat at the bottom of the A Tower, and I got to lay on it. Which was super fun, because I love my Mat when I’m doing stuff.

So the Mum says I’m going to get to go up one side, and down the other, then lay on the mat and eat yummy treats off the mat peg. Woot! I like the whole process. I get to run, climb, and eat! Some of my most favorite things!

But Auntie Obedience Trainer was nice enough to walk with me over the A Tower, and then the Mum took these pictures because I wanted to put them here on my blog so you could all see how much fun I’m having learning agilities!

Agilities are really fun. Though the jump thingies are kinda silly. Why not go around them, instead of over? The Mum says she’ll only give me treats and clicks if I go over them. So okay, I guess I will, but they aren’t as fun as the A Tower I like it a lot!

I also did the Dog Walker and a Tunnel and I’ll post pictures of those tomorrow! The tunnels are really fun. I like to zoom through them. I used to think they were kinda weird, but Chase told me they are the funnest part, and he goes through them even when he’s not supposed too… and don’t tell the Mum he said that! But those are fun things too!
