How To Make A Dog Bed

The Mum says that we go through our dog beds too fast, and she has to spend too much money buying dog beds. So she had an idea that we can make our own! So she went to the store and she bought some materials… and so we made a dog bed!

First what you do is when the Mum lays the material on the ground, you have to break it in. And me and Muffit did that by playing on it. Then I did the same by laying on it.

And then you on it some more and you help the Mum as she cuts it up into a dog bed sized chunk.

And then sometimes it’s okay to let your big sister Lucy lay on the material just to make sure it is okay for her, too.

Then next you have to have the ends sewed together. And the Dad said he doesn’t sew, and we can’t put up pictures of him sewing, so this is a mystery man sewing the ends of the material together for the dog bed.

Then next you stuff the bed (later to be destuffed, I’m sure) with stuffing that we pulled out of a couch cushion that we are also using as a bed! So here is all of us helping the Mum stuff the new bed. The Dad took these pictures.

Then you get another mystery Dad person to sew the very last bit of the bed together… and at the end, you get to lay on it!

And it’s super comfy! And the Mum says it can go in the washering machine, too!

That’s how you make a dog bed!

    Way cool, you trained your Mum and Dad to make beds for you. We would do the same, except neither of use a bed. It is the nice cool floor or the couch for us.

      Hi Essex and Deacon! My sister Lucy likes the cool floor too. I like the couch.. but it’s because we don’t have enough dog beds! The Mum said we can’t fit six dogs and her on the couch, so we have to have more dog beds!

    Same here - cool floor for me. The mom even bought me one of those fancy cool bed III’s that are meant to be nice and cold……but I don’t like it….it’s all squashy like a water bed. That mystery man did a very good job on your beds….they look very professional. Hope he didn’t put a pea in the princesses bed…would not do for her to be uncomfortable.

      Hi Reilly! I like warm beds instead of cold floors but Lucy usually likes cold floors. I have not felt a pea yet, one better not be in there! The mystery guy was fun! LOL

    Those are awesome beds. I have a bit of a bed collection myself. A bed is pretty much the only thing I don’t eat. hehe

      Hey Mack! I chew up beds, especially the zipper parts, that why the Mum made this one. She said it prolly cost about four dollars! That’s only just more than a chewie!

    It’s a good thing I’m not hard on beds. That seems like a lot of work that my mom probably wouldn’t go through. It looks very comfy though. You shoudl start your own dog bed making business!!

    That dog bed looks really pawsome. Mom buys us dog bed every now and then but somehow they mysteriously end up trashed. We don’t know why.

    Beds are the best! We are lucky and we are smaller so we share Meowms big bed a lot! Meowm has spoiled us with others beds though…..and blankets too!

    I think there would be room for Meowm to be on your bed with us!

      Hi Aunt Marie! LOL the Dad said putting up pictures of him sewing was as bad as putting up nakid pictures of the Mum. Though I don’t understand ’cause I’m always nakid! So this mystery guy came by instead! ;)
