Learning About Cats
So I am learning all about cats. Because there are two cats that live in our house with us. Littles is a multi colored cat that lives in our computer room. She is shy and doesn’t come out much, but she likes to help the Dad play a game he calls WoW and she sits on the keyboard for him and sometimes types for him too. But the people who read it don’t understand cat and so they just say ‘huh?’ but she likes to do it anyway.
And there is also Phoebe. She is the black cat that lives here. Both Phoebe and Littles were here before I was, so I guess I have to be nice to them. When I first came to live here I didn’t really know what cats were ’cause I’d never met any before! So I kinda wanted to chase them but the Mum and the Dad said nooooo we pups are not supposed to chase the cats, we are supposed to be nice to them. So I said Oh Okay I guess maybe I won’t chase them (but sometimes I still do).
So when I was outside today in between when the Mum was teaching me fun stuff I went outside in the back yard, where Dad put in a new fence installation just a couple years ago that is nice and keeps us all safe, and I found Phoebe out there and so I sniffed at her. And she kinda rubbed up against me and what does that mean? Is she being nice or is she being boss? Anyway the Mum snuck this picture in through the window ’cause she knew if she went outside, Muffit would come, and Muffit gets a little more excited around the cats than I do. Just earlier Muffit was staring at Phoebe on one of our beds and he tried to pounce on her to play, but she doesn’t play like that so Muffit got a hiss instead and Phoebe ran off.
I would love to run and run around the yard with the cats but they don’t want to. Oh well! I can sniff them!

Hi Tatum – Morgan here. I have 2 cats, and if you are patient with them they will let you play with them. I did get hit on the nose a couple of times by my Laura cat. not so much with Josie cat, but she was a kitten when she came here. Now, I get along good with both of them and Laura doesn’t hit anymore. I like cats.

I have been hit on the nose once or twice too but that was ages ago now!
That means Phoebe likes you! We rub on beans and things we like all the time…..plus we like to rub to leave our scent on you!
