The Disembodied Food Hand
Today is a rest day ’cause the Mum says she needs rest days. i don’t know why because I have every day as a rest day almost. Except the learning days which are more fun than the rest days. So are the running amok in the dog park and getting lost for 20 minutes days. But today is a rest day not a running or learning day. Tomorrow will be a flyball day and I’m excited for that!
I just kinda wanted to show you a picture of how the Mum is supposed to teach me how to do things. See the disembodied hand that has yummy treats in it? Well that is always supposed to be there! And the Mum thinks she wants me to do some things without that hand there with the treats in it. HRMPH.
So when the hand goes away so does my attention. I like food and dogs and running! The Mum tells me I’ll like agility too and I probalby will. It’s just that the Mum and I have to work out who is boss and what we do between the agility stuff. And I think I should tell her what to do, but she thinks she should tell me what to do. So the Mum is trying to be firm with me and, well, yeah I guess i give in. ‘Cause she is the Mum after all. And even though before I came to live here and I lived in the icky place that didn’t have enough food or water, and sometimes I still get afraid of hoomans even though they seem pretty nice, I think some of them are trustworthy even though I’m still testing them all!

The Mum said a blog would be a fun thing for me to do, I can tell everyone how I'm gonna learn some things called agility, and obedience, and flyball.. and go on walks and play in the park and bark at the TV and lots of fun stuff!

Ooohhh! Finally proof that the disembodied hand does exist! LOL My dogs have been convinced of it’s existence for years, but this is the first picture that we’ve seen.
We are having a rest day over here too, but I hear we may get a big walky later.

Hi, Tatum, we’ve missed you! Hopefully The Girl will bring me by more often now so that I can follow your adventures better!
I think that when it all comes down to it, your Mom should be the boss. After all, The Girl is my boss, and I don’t want to be the only one with a boss!
