My Best Play Moves
So the Mum came home today and then Aunt Christy came over and she brought Charlie with! Charlie is a border collie girl who has been at the shelter for three months. That’s a long time! A really nice lady at the shelter liked Charlie and wanted to save her, so, she contacted Utah Collie Rescue. And even though UCR usually only does collies like me, we are gonna have Charlie stay with us a couple of days until she can go to another foster home with Border Collie Rescue.
The Mum didn’t get very good pictures of her but she wants to post more over on her blog Tip Tail, anyway. But this is Charlie. And she’s black and white and a little bit fat! She didn’t want to eat dinner, but us dogs don’t like to eat much when we come to a new home, so that’s okay. She can eat later. She has enough fat to last her a while anyway! LOL She’s not skinny like me!
So when Charlie came to explore the back yard, I used all my good play moves on her but she didn’t play with me. Hrmph! Well, she better.
But I’m boss of her, and just a couple of minutes ago I let her know… I growled at her then I bit at her and made her run away! The Mum said I was a bad girl and wasn’t supposed to do that to foster dogs. Charlie just was a wimp and ran from me. She didn’t even fight back! Which is good because I’m boss girl here (we won’t talk about Lucy) and I get to tell all the other dogs what to do!
But I’ll try to be nice to her. The Mum says she hasn’t had a home like I have for the last year and a half. But I was also worried that Charlie would eat some of the Tuna the Mum had. I really like Tuna and I want it all for me! I even got a big chunk of it out of the Mum’s salad before she knew it! He he. I like to do that.
I know I put up more pictures of me than of Charlie but hey, I’m cuter anyways. He he. I’m a collie girl!

Hi I'm Tatum and welcome to my blog! I'm a smooth sable collie, the prettiest kind! The Mum said a blog would be a fun thing for me to do, I can tell everyone how I'm gonna learn some things called agility, and obedience, and flyball.. and go on walks and play in the park and bark at the TV and lots of fun stuff!

I’m suprised that Charlie didn’t want to play with you, looks like you were giving it your best shot out there. Oh well, maybe she’s more like some of my Shelties that take a while before they decide that playing somewhere new is fun!
We are gonna purr for Charlie. It is tough not having your own home for so long.
We want to thank your Mum for stopping by and leaving messages for our Meowm about her job loss. We hope and purr this madness stops.

Happys last blog post..Thankful Thursday
It looks like you had fun playing in the snow. 3 months is a really long time in a shelter. I was really lucky that I only had to stay a few days before Mom and Dad came to rescue me.
