A Bed That Fits
So finally the Mum got me a bed that I can fit in! Look at me now! It’s still a little teeny bit small up here on the dog shelf in my new bed, but I do like to curl up in it and so it’s not too small really.
So now instead of me trying to squeeze into a bed that’s too small, like putting on breeches that are just too small, I get to curl up in this comfy bed.
The Mum said it didn’t even cost $40 which was good, because she says she doesn’t have $40 for a bed for me. But I think that’s a small price to pay for a bed for me, since I deserve a special comfy bed for myself!

I have a nice big bed that mom made – she bought one of those “egg crate” foam mattress toppers for $10 and cut it up into a bed size, and then just made a quick cover for it. It is very comfey but I never sleep on it because I get to warm, I still prefer to snooze on the slate tiles.
You look comfy with your new bed. I’m happy for you. Well I think your mom loves you so much that she got you a bed even she didn’t have extra money. Your a lucky dog.
