Tatum Tot Spice

I’m going to do an agility trial tomorrow! I’m going with the Mum, and she said Jet is probably coming to so that I’ll feel more comfortable. I get kinda nervous without another dog around so it’s good when Jet or Chase or Levi comes with me.

The Mum says it’s an AKC trial and it’s where we were practicing the last couple of weeks on Wednesdays. But there will be more people there this time and it might be more stressful for me. But sometimes I relax right up. I am not sure how I’ll feel yet tomorrow but I bet I’ll do really well!

If the Mum gives me lots of tuna brownies maybe I try to get her and the Dad some cute couples gifts for taking me to agility. The Mum hopes to get some video of me too if she can find anyone to ask to take some. So I hope to post it up. The Mum is hoping for a Q, but I am hoping for Tuna Brownies!

We got more snow today and the Mum isn’t happy about it. She says she wants for the spring to come with the warm weather and the green grass and the pretty flowers in the garden. I still like the snow, though.

But it’s nice when the Mum is happy and maybe we can go to the park more often! I love the park. This picture is of me and Jet at the park. We don’t need any disability appeal when we go to the park, because we stay strong and healthy and we don’t get ourselves hurt. The Mum sometimes wonders that we’ll get hurt but we never do!

So yesterday the Mum took me and Jet and Chase out for sporting stuff. I got to do agility at the dirty barn. See, I’m kinda nervous at new places and so I have to go to places about 3 or 4 times before I really know they are safe and okay to be there. Well, yesterday I finally felt really comfortable at the dirty barn we do agility in and so I ran really fast! I did all the jumps and the weaves and the A-Frame walky and the dog walky and it was a ton of fun!

The Mum hopes that maybe I’ll feel really comfortable at the big huge horse barn we’ve gone to about three times now, because I’m entered in an AKC agility trial this Friday. And Mum wants me to get a Q or two but I think I should just get lots of tuna brownies. She says she wants humidors for cigars to celebrate if I get some Qs. I don’t know what that is but it’s good to make the Mum happy. The big horse barn kinda was making me nervous but maybe this coming Friday I’ll be just relaxed there, I never know until I go. But then the Mum says if I’m too relaxed I can run too fast and she doesn’t know how to keep up!

I’ve sure missed having the Dog Shelf. A couple years ago the Mum decided there was not enough room on the couch for all us dogs and her, and so she had the idea of the dog shelf. It’s a shelf that’s behind the couch that we all like to lay on a lot of the time. I prefer the couch but sometimes the Mum will have me lay on the dog shelf when Lucy wants to lay on the couch. Mum says Lucy is older than me and so she gets more priorities than I do. Hrmph oh well I guess that just happens sometimes in our house!

I think we need another couch in the basement but the Mum says I would have to get some health care jobs so pay for another one!

Yeah it’s that time of year when there’s not much to do inside and outside it’s all wet and muddy. The Mum doesn’t like it when we get wet and muddy and so we just kinda hang out inside.

I am doing a little bit of agility training once in a while, the Mum says we are going to go do some this afternoon, so that’ll be lots of fun. And we went last Sunday to do some too. And sometimes the Mum gets out the boxes and we get to find treats in them and that’s a lot of fun too. But we do a lot of sleeping during this time of year. The Mum does too. She likes to sleep. We like to sleep too. But sleep isn’t the best fat burner so we kinda get a bit pudgy this time of year too.

We are all hoping for spring soon so we can go outside more again!

As you can see from this picture the Mum put me in the torture chamber recently and I didn’t like it one bit. The Mum says this kind of torture, the BATH, is a good way to get me clean and so that the Mum can snuffle her nose in my neck and smell be real good. But I rub my head on her just fine whether I’m CLEAN or not and so I don’t think it really should matter that much!

But the Mum says we need baths sometimes whether we want them or not. I’d rather get rid of all baths just like the Mum wants to get rid of stomach fat but I guess we all don’t get what we want all the time. Even though I should because I’m a smooth collie girl and we are all special!

So the Mum and the Dad decided that they would paint the floor in the basement. Which means that we can’t walk on all of it most of the time! But it’s almost done now. This picture is of me and Levi on the couch, and Lucy in her chair after part of the floor has been painted. I’m chewing on a super yummy bone that’s really good and Levi wanted it bad but I didn’t give him any. Levi hogs bones a lot and doesn’t let anyone else have them so when I get them I hang onto them for myself!

The Mum says that we can’t afford tile and we can’t have carpet on the floors because Lucy throws up a lot and leaks from her bladder so carpet would just be icky. So the floor is weird and I don’t really care what color it is but I guess it makes the Mum happier for it to be painted so there it is. Maybe some paint and some acne scar removal would make her even more happy!

So when the Mum goes to work in the morning I get to sleep in her bed spot. Sometimes I sleep in bed with her anyway at night and that is fun and cozy too. But I have to be in just the right mood or else I like to sleep in the front room in my nice comfy red round bed on the floor.

The big Mum bed is the best place to sleep at night. Usually Levi and Jet are sleeping with the Mum. And sometimes me if I’m feeling really good that night.

But this picture is of me and Levi in the bed with the Mum and it is really comfy there! I like to growl at the other dogs if they touch me at night so the Mum puts me up by her so that she can rub my ears if I growl, and that usually changes my grown into a moan because it feels so good!

The Mum says the bed is safe and even safer than the car, so we don’t need to get the cheapest car insurance for when we are in the bed because it’s really safe there!

So the Mum took us up to do some agility practice Wednesday and she got some video of me doing it. And aren’t I good? I am, but I like to do the things I like to do and the jumps are not my favorite.

The walky things are my favorite, like the dog walky and the A-Frame walky and the table. Those are the very best of all and I think they are really fun! The Mum put lots of words on this video so the people that watch don’t think that the Mum is forcing me to do things that I don’t like. I really like it all but I try to get the Mum to do it my way and she says we have to do it her way! Maybe if I got her some jewelry making tools then she would let me do it my way instead. Or some hooman chocolate, she likes that a lot!

When I came to live here in Utah I came on a big airplane. Isn’t it cool? This is from way back years ago on September 1, 2007 when I landed on the plane. The Mum didn’t get any good pictures of me though, just of the plane! She is silly that way. Maybe if she’d had some tablet netbooks back then she would have been able to save a better picture of me.

The airplane was kinda scary but I did good and was happy when we landed on the ground again. I’ve been with the Mum and the Dad and the rest of the family for years now and I really like it here a lot!
