I went with the Mum and Jet today and we did some DOCNA agility. It was fun and it’s in the barn that I’ve done agility in before and so I’m pretty comfortable there. I’ll put up my video in a little bit when it’s uploaded. It takes a while to upload videos sometimes. But anyway the agility was really fun and I did good! The Mum says that I didn’t get any ribbons because DOCNA likes it when dogs run really super fast and I don’t run really super fast so I don’t get any ribbons. But that’s okay because I get livers and they are better than ribbons anyway. I don’t know what all the hoopla is about ribbons when you can’t eat them.

There is my video, it may take a while to look better and be processed, but by the time anyone reads this and watches it’ll probably be just fine! Though maybe the Mum needs some speaker stands so that we can hook up the TV and speakers to my videos so we can see them full screen. That would be cool!

My brother Jet did good and got four ribbons for the Mum today. And he also got to eat some livers but I got most of the livers because I didn’t like the other treats the Mum had as much. But livers are good! Agility for Livers!

So this weekend we are doing a different kind of Agility. The Mum says it’s DOCNA agility. Usually we do AKC agility. The Mum says that AKC agility gives me more time to finish the whole agility course and sometimes I’m not too fast and so I need a bit more time to do it all.

This will be indoors because it’s supposed to rain outside. And collies melt in the rain and so I’m glad that it’s inside now. I wouldn’t want to melt being outside! Maybe the rain would take off my hair and I’d need some hair loss products to get it back on again.

It would be fun to win some ribbons, but going out and doing agility is just really fun even if I don’t get any ribbons. My brother Jet is going to do this trial with me too so that’ll be fun. It’s always fun to go out and do agility and say hi to other dogs and people and eat yummy treats!

When me and Jet went to Logan Utah and stayed in the hotel we got to chew our bully sticks on the bed. That’s super fun. And it was only me and Jet, just the two of us, with the Mum, so we got to really be in the whole room and have it just to ourselves. And then the other dogs didn’t want to steal our bones either. Levi usually wants all the bones to himself and he’s kinda mean that way!

Maybe I need some custom presentation folders to keep all my bones in so that he won’t be able to get them anymore. I really don’t like it when Levi gets all the bones!

The Mum says I don’t get to go to Montana in July and stay in a hotel there. But I think I’d have fun if I went to that too. But that’s okay, I can stay home and growl at the rest of the dogs!

I’ve been sleeping most of today because I’m tired! I worked really hard over the weekend, the Mum took me and my brother Jet to an agility trial in a place called Logan, Utah. We got to stay in a hotel and that’s always a lot of fun. We get to wrestle and chew bones and sleep on the super comfy beds in hotels.

The Mum and I did two agility runs a day and guess what? I won lots of ribbons! I was almost kinda fast, just fast enough to get qualifying legs! I got one ribbon on Friday, and I got two ribbons on Sunday. The Mum was super proud of me! I’m proud of myself too, and now that I’m home again I get to growl at the other dogs because I know that I’m the bestest at agility and we have lots of fun. The Mum says I now have two agility titles, they are my first agility titles! I have a Novice Agility Preferred (NAP) and Novice Jumpers Preferred (NJP) titles. I did super good and the Mum says next she’s going to have me to the Open class where I get to do 12 weave polls instead of just six. I did all my weave polls in every run for three days and the Mum was super proud of me! They are HARD but I thought about them really good and got them all!

So now that I’m home I don’t need an Manhattan Accident Attorney because we were safe and didn’t have any problems driving up there or home. It wasn’t a long drive, only an hour and a half. And there wasn’t any rain on the drive so that was good too.

Not it’s time to rest up until the next agility trial in June. And hopefully we’ll do more training too!

So the Mum says that I’m feeling good and healthy enough and I get to do agility again! I’m excited, but a little bit nervous, too. The Mum says she’ll get the weave polls out this week and we will practice before we go. It’s a three day trial and we get to stay in a hotel for the whole time. It’s a place an hour and a half drive north of us and so the Mum doesn’t want to drive every day. So we get to stay in a hotel. They are fun ’cause Jet and Me will get to wrastle and play on the hotel bed!

 

The drive will be kinda boring but the Mum is a safe driver so we don’t need any Medicare plans for when we get up there. It’s an AKC trial and I am still in Novice. The Mum says maybe I can get a Novice Title and then do Open. In Open there are 12 weave polls instead of just 6. But I can do 12 in the back yard just fine and I have done them in other places as well. They are hard and I have to really super concentrate but I think I’m going to do really well! The Mum thinks so too!

It might rain up there which might not be fun but I have a thick coat that keeps me warm. My brother Jet doesn’t though and he gets cold. I’m glad I don’t get cold easily!

My sister Angel left us one year ago. She died on May 13, 2010. Which was almost a full year ago now. It’s really sad and I still miss her. The Mum misses her too and thinks about her every day. I liked playing with Angel.

Angel was my big sister and she came from a yucky place like I did. When she came to live with the Mum and the Dad, she had a broken leg and was really skinny.

 

 

 

 

But the Mum and the Dad fixed her up and got her lots of yummy food and good health care and she got good and strong! She didn’t need any hearing aid batteries because she could hear really well, and her leg healed all up, and she liked to grab socks and toys and run around and have the Mum chase her. I chased her too but she liked the Mum to chase her better.

Angel was the best sister ever and a really good collie girl. She was a smooth blue collie.  Just like me, except blue instead of sable. And she was pretty like me, too. And I don’t say that about many other dogs, you know, because I’m the prettiest of them all!

We all miss you Angel.  And will always remember you.

 

In our house where I live with my brothers and sister there are three kinds of mornings.

There are the kinds of mornings where the Mum gets up and showers and gets dressed nice and then leaves for the whole day and doesn’t come back until the late evening. Those are the days that are mostly boring.

Then there are the kinds of mornings where the Mum gets up and kicks us dogs out of the bedroom (except Levi, he stays in) and then closes the door and doesn’t come back out for some hours. Those are kinda boring but then eventually the Mum does come out and is home and we have a fun day.

Then the last kind of mornings are the best. That’s when the Mum gets up and showers and dresses in jeans, and we get to go out and do agility or something fun! I like those mornings, I wish there were more of them!

But each kind of morning is okay because I like living here instead of the icky place I lived when I was a puppy. Sometimes we have camping days and there might be ATV Wheels spinning around but most of the time we are at home, and home is a really good place!

So this is a cool picture of me on the couch when the webcam was on this week. The Mum likes to watch us at home when she’s at work. I think it’s okay because she gets fun pictures of me sometimes and pictures of me are always good! I don’t even need any cellulite treatment to be pretty!

It’s kinda boring when the Mum is at work and the Dad is at school but sometimes I get the whole couch to myself. And I’m feeling better now too and biting the Mum on the butt again which is fun. She’s not letting me do agility this weekend though. She says I have to get completely all better then I get to do it in two weeks. We get to travel to a place called Logan that’s an hour and a half away in the van and stay in a hotel. That’ll be fun, I like hotels!
