My Sister Lucy
The Mum and the Dad say that Lucy has to leave us forever this Wednesday. The Mum and the Dad have been doing a lot of crying because they don’t want Lucy to go. I don’t really understand where she’s going to go or why, but they say that Levi is going to go with to say goodbye to Lucy on Wednesday.
The Mum says I’ll see her again someday, but not in this world, and not for a long time.
So no one is really happy at our house except Jet, who just doesn’t seem to understand sadness at all, and he bounces around like a goof and looks through bridal shower invitations and tries to chew them up just like he chews up everything else.
So if I don’t post for a while it’s because the Mum is crying and us dogs and Dad are trying to make her feel better.

Poor Lucy – I am sure everyone is going to miss her sooooo much and it was a very hard decision for your Mom and Dad to make – but I am also glad they are not going to let her suffer either. Sometimes it is much better to let them go and run free over the rainbow bridge where they are forever young and healthy again – then it is to keep them with us – just because it hurts to let go. Have strength family – you are doing what is best for Lucy.
We are sad to hear that Lucy is going to cross the bridge. Our sympathy is with you and your pack. It is so hard to let go. You are in our thought and prayers.

Dear Tatum & Levi & your hu-mans,
It is a fery sad time when it is time for one of our family to make the Journey to Rainbow Bridge. My sister Neve went there just a few months ago. Efen tho I know that she is safe & happy & not sick anymore there, me & my hu-Mum & hu-Dad still miss her. I fink it is OK for us to feel so sad and to miss our our doggies when they are not with us here anymore. One day eventually we will be able to fink about the good times we had together and not feel so sad.
