Tatum Tot Spice

This weekend I got to go on a really fun walk with Levi and the Mum. Levi has taught me that barking at all the people we walk by is super fun. Whenever someone goes by then Levi barks at them and the Mum says “Levi Quiet” and he barks anyway until the Mum touches his collar and then he’s quiet for a little bit. So I learned that it’s fun to bark at people too. The Mum sometimes has to take my collar too but I don’t now why she thinks we should stop barking because it’s really fun!

I didn’t go with my brothers Chase and Jet when they went to go chase bunnies at a thing called Lure Coursing. The Mum tried to get me to chase the fake bunny once but it wasn’t really that fun and the Mum had to run with me the whole way. So I didn’t go today but that’s okay I wouldn’t have wanted to anyway.

The Mum says there were lots of trailers and cars and stuff there with curt trailer hitches on them that pulled the dogs and all their supplies around. She also said it was too hot and it smelled bad because it was by a place called the Dump and I didn’t want to go anyway. But my brothers Chase and Jet sure had fun!

Well here is a picture of our whole furry family. There’s me, my smooth blue collie brother Levi, my smooth blue collie sister Lucy, my border collie brother Chase, and my Danish-Swedish Farmdog brother Jet. My border collie brother Muffit isn’t in the picture because he doesn’t know how to pose for pictures. The Mum says he is too frantic and will never hold still so she doesn’t even try. But he’s a good hiker that goes with my Dad all the time!

This is also our Christmas Tree that the Mum and the Dad put up last weekend. I think it’s weird to have a tree in the house. And Muffit just wants to pee on it. And Jet wants to pull all the fun ornaments off (I have pulled a couple off myself!) and so the Mum put an x-pen around it so we can’t. She is a party pooper! Maybe I’ll steal her cheap eyeglasses so that I can chew them instead!

The Mum put the mats over the tile so we can play and train in the winter. The flyball box is there too, for Jet to work on when the Mum has time. And we do some jumps and we do some finding-the-treats-in-the-boxes that the Mum calls K9 Nose Work and it’s all just fun!

The Mum was looking through old pictures again and she found this one of Chase, Jet and Me in Idaho. Yeah the Mum likes to look through all our old pictures! But they are fun. Chase is the black Border Collie, Jet is the Danish Swedish Farmdog, and Me, well, I’m the Smooth Sable Collie Girl who is the prettiest in the whole picture.

This picture is by a big river. The Mum wishes we had more rivers and water here so that we cold swim. But she’s weird because I don’t want to swim. I think swimming is icky! I’d rather stay dry and maybe read some enzyte reviews when the other dogs go to swim. Chase loves to swim. Jet doesn’t like it much because he gets cold. But the Mum says he’d probably like it if he knew he wasn’t going to sink. But don’t all dogs sink? I just don’t understand swimming!

So this is a picture of Chase and Jet when they went on a trip to the thing called DOCNA nationals last weekend before this last weekend that I was home and got to relax. The Mum said Chase won four ribbons and they had a good time. She said maybe if I do good at agility I could go next year. But she says I might have to run fast and I kinda would rather to walk in agility and the Mum walks with me so I’m not sure if I’ll want to qualify or not. Maybe if I do and get to sleep on some matouk sheets that I would like it better… but I dunno.

Jet got to go for the ride but he didn’t do the agility yet either. Mum says he’s not old enough yet and he doesn’t know all the moves yet. He and I am still learning and we do lots of the learning things together.

So the Mum says that I have to go and practice my weave polls every day in the back yard. She says that practice makes perfect. She hasn’t gotten any pictures of me doing it lately, so I’m putting up this one of my brother Chase, who is in MY bed, and he shouldn’t be. UGH. It’s my bed! Maybe I’ll go on some Orlando vacations and find a bed there that is just for me!

So but anyway the weaves are kinda hard and I don’t really get them yet. You have to move back and forth and back and forth and it’s really odd. And I’m not sure where is a good starting point either. So the Mum says every day, just like if I was learning to play the piano. And I don’t know how to play the piano but maybe it would be easier than the weaves!

The Mum took good pictures of me at the flyball tournament! This is of my and my brother Chase. He is the only one that knows how to play flyball right now. Well, Muffit knows, but Muffit is too busy trying to say hi to all the other dogs than to play flyball. And I kinda understand because I like playing with the other dogs too! No matter where we are, on commercial real estate, in parks, the yard, or training!

But the Mum has been pretty interesting lately. She has yummy treats, and she likes it when I do fun stuff and wag my tail in the air.

We both have our cool coats on here, too. They are cool cool coats! We like them, they keep us nice and cool in the hot sun.  And they look sharp don’t they!

So I was looking through the Mum’s old pictures of when before I lived with them and we like to go camping… and there was this funny picture of Chase playing a game called Clue when they went camping before me. And so I just had to post it because isn’t it funny? I don’t know if Chase won, my Dad won or my Aunt Mary Lee won, but the Mum said she didn’t win she never wins when she plays Clue.

This is in our super fun trailer we have when we go camping. And there is a heater so that we don’t get cold… when the Dad doesn’t forget to put Proppaine in it that is!  And the next time when we go camping I’m going to have the Mum and Dad pull out the Clue Game and I’m gonna play, and I’ll bet I’ll win!  And if I don’t win I’ll chew up all the pieces and then I’ll win anyway! And maybe to remember I’ll need some laptop memory for the Mum’s laptop then I can play on it too!

My sister Lucy is in the background there sleeping. She’s really good at sleeping, and at pushing me around but I’d rather push her around!

In the trailer, I just wanted to wear my tiara, and Chase and Muffit wanted to play. And even though Chase looks kinda mean here, he is just being a dork. He plays with all his teeth out! And Muffit, as you can see, is a little bit thinking Chase is a dork, too.

Chase kinda tilted my tiara a little bit… which made me mad, but the Mum fixed it for me. Which is good ’cause I don’t want it to fall off. And we played in the trailer ’cause we didn’t have a xbox 360 to fool with.. we just had each other, and no TV either!

The Mum watched a show on the TV that she called Bones last night.. though I didn’t see any chew bones on it, just dogs barking! And every time they barked, I barked too, ’cause I thought they were gonna come out of the TV and get me! And I had to bark at them to make them go away. The Mum said it was a show that had a lot of things about dogs that aren’t really real, but it did have a good message that people who get dogs need to keep them for ever and ever, even if they get big and they didn’t expect it!

We had a fun trip! The Mum wasn’t going to take me… well, she was at first, then she wasn’t, then she was again! Yay! I’m glad she did because I have lots of fun and I make her happy, because I’m just so happy, I make everyone happy!

I even made the birthday girl happy! It was Echo’s birthday, she’s a Belgian Malinois and she had a birthday. So they passed out birthday hats and the Mum put one on me. Well, I wasn’t too crazy about the birthday hat, because it felt funny, but after I had it on and the Mum gave me lots of treats it wasn’t so bad so I let it stay on. Plus, I was pretty darn cute in it, don’t you think?

Though the hat wasn’t quite pink enough, it still had a little bit of pink on it. And Echo had a really pretty pink dress! You can see it in one of the next pictures down. It’s so pretty. And the Tiara was pretty, soo. The Mum said I’m so much like a princess that I really should have my own tiara, so maybe I’ll get one for this Christmas!

You know.. it’s almost been a year since I came to live here in Utah from Houston. And the Mum says I’ll get a Gotcha Day Pizza! I can’t wait!

And there was a really pretty river called the Snake River (icky name!) that ran by our camp ground. We had to drive to it, but once we got there, it was nice. Chase really wanted to chase the ducks, but he got to swim after an old icky flip flop so he was happy about that. And I wanted to sleep on some crib bedding after ’cause I was tired! Have you ever seen crib bedding? It’s super soft and super nice and you might want to check it out! Especially since these guys have such fun colors to chose from! And great quality too!

And see here, this is me sleeping in the trailer. It’s only the second time I ever slept in our trailer. It pops up so the Mum calls it a pop up. We went camping in it once before and had a really fun time. This time the Mum put an xpen around it so we couldn’t get out. But I’m smart, and I figured out how to push it open when the Mum and aunt Marie didn’t latch it, and I’d run out and go ‘Woo Hoo!’ and hop like a bunny ’cause I was free! But it was fun in the trailer too.

So the above picture is of the birthday party and you can see Echo in her pretty dress! She is such a pretty Malinois, I like Malinois and I love to play with them and I wish I could play with more of them! And there were lots of dogs at her party and they all looked like so much fun to play with!

And then this picture above is when we were at the campground in the trailer. Not only were Levi and Chase with, but also Twist and Rogue! I love them and wish they would play with me! But Twist wanted to play with Chase, and Chase doesn’t like to play with anyone except me and Muffit. So the Mum had to watch to make sure Chase didn’t show too many teeth to Twist. But they are fun shelties and I like to play with them!

So that’s all I have to say about our trip! Levi didn’t get any Qs and Chase got one but the Mum said Chase didn’t do good enough so she pulled him from Saturday and Sunday. Rogue didn’t get any Qs either (she didn’t enter like me!) but Twist got two Qs! He won the whole weekend he did such a good job. Yay Twist!

The Mum took me, Chase and Muffit to an agility trial on Saturday. Man we go to these a lot! But the Mum says in the winter we don’t go to as many. We didn’t get to run around much because some hoomans were playing a game called baseball in our regular run around area. Didn’t they know that’s for dogs to run around? I guess it’s set up for hoomans to play that ball game, but really it should have been for us.

But me and Muffit got to go out and visit people and dogs. And the Mum put me up on a table so I tucked up my tail in case it was going to be scary, and a guy called a judge measured where my shoulders were. But they are always in the same place so not sure what that was about. He said I was twenty inches at the shoulder, and the Mum said that was good, so I guess that was good, whatever!

Then we came home and today we are mostly sleeping… the Mum went to go for a swim at her friend’s house but I didn’t want to go, ’cause I don’t swim! Hrm. But we get to go to flyball practice tonight and that’ll be fun. Though the Mum is fiddling with her tv mount for her big flat TV and that’s scary, we hope she doesn’t drop it!
