I Am Tired

Oh boy Oh boy today was a fun day! The Mum took me and Muffit to training! It’s a lot of work, you know. I worked on the upright poll thingies and the Mom wanted me to go right in between them before I could get my treat.  But before I can go I have to sit, and give the Mum my paw for a touch, and then I get a treat and I can go.  Because then I know that the Mum is part of the whole fun thing.  ‘Cause sometimes I just want to do it on my own, but I’m getting the hang of letting the Mum think she is in control!

So without getting a 4gb micro sd to help out with my memory… I was able to remember the whole procedure and the Mum was happy because my tail was up the whole time and I did have fun. The Mum says she can always tell what I’m feeling because my tail tells everyone!  I try to control my tail but sometimes it’s just too hard.

So it was fun, then Muffit got to do some mat work while I took a nap because I was tired. Then we got home and I’m still tired!  So goodnight everydog! Oh and I hope everydog has a happy New Year!

The Mum and I were just watching the weather-guesser on the news and he said that it is supposed to be really cold the next few days here in Utah in Salt Lake City where we live. It’s supposed to get down to four degrees on Saturday or Sunday!

Me Curled Up

And so to show how I get all curled up to stay warm, I thought I’d show you some pictures! This first one is of me. The Mum says me, Levi, Chase and Muffit can all curl up really nice. But Lucy and Angel can’t really, they just don’t bend. So the Mum and the Dad put blankets on them and get snuggly beds for them so they can stay warm too.

If you don’t know how to curl up maybe there is a toll free number you can call to learn! It makes my belly super warm, and I put my tail over my nose too, to keep my nose warm.

Muffit Curled Up

Levi also knows how to curl up really tight into a ball. Us collies are good at it usually. And border collies, the Mum says, are even better because they are so flexible. But being flexible isn’t all that important… I like being a collie even if we are not as flexible as border collies!  Okay okay… being flexible is kinda important, and for collies me and Levi are pretty flexible and we have pretty good bodies that let us do lots of way fun stuff!

Muffit is kinda silly when he is all curled up, because he does it and keeps his eyes open sometimes and peers at the Mum when she is taking pictures. LOL Muffit is a silly border collie boy! He can curl up into a teeny tiny ball though, because he’s so small, he makes a very small ball.

Can you curl up into a small ball to keep warm? It’s not really that cold in our house though either… the Mum wants it colder, the Dad wants it warmer. So it changes quite a bit. Oh but the Mum is being sick now and that’s why I haven’t posted much lately anyway because she hasn’t left the laptop on for me to post with. But that’s okay, I have been curling up with her and keeping her warm, too!

So the Mum helped me do this picture! I don’t know if it’ll get on the front page of icanhascheezburger.com, but we thought we’d give it a try! This is me and Chip, my sheltie friend who came to visit a while back!

It’s been a long time since the Mum left… like days and days. And I miss her. When will she be home? The Dad says she will be home tomorrow night. I sure hope so! I miss her and I’ve been doing a lot of sleeping waiting for her to come home so that we can play and learn again!

Oooo I got on the computer again! The Dad is nice to let me post more pictures of me. When we were up in Idaho for a dog show obedience thing for Levi, Aunt Marie took some really neat pictures! And this one is of me! Okay there were some others with my mouth closed, but isn’t this one the cutest? LOL.

Well the Mum leaves tomorrow, so I gotta get some posting in before she goes! And I thought I’d post some fun pictures of me because I’m cute and so very happy! This picture is of me at the park when we went this summer. My tongue is out and I’m being a happy girl. Chewing up bar faucets was fun too.. though mostly we chewed up sticks and stuff! And chased other dogs!

I love puppies. The Mum says I’m Puppy Safe which is a good thing because puppies are very fragile and we have to treat them gently.

I didn’t get to go and visit these puppies, but I hope to play with one of them soon! One of them will be a member of our flyball team. Maybe this blue one, maybe another blue one… the Mum can’t tell the two blue ones apart from her pictures. Silly Mum! She needs to get better compact flash memory to remember for her camera, I think.

The little blue boy might come to be on our flyball team, or a little black and white girl. They are border collies too. The Mum got to visit them when they were just four weeks old. I bet I was cuter than them, when I was four weeks old! But collies are always super cute!
