Well last night I had a super fun time! The Mum took me to a New Year Pawty.. though it wasn’t on New Years Eve or New Years Day, it still was in this New Year of 2009 so it was fun!
Watching Footsball
For a little while I sat with the Hoomans and watched the TV. There was a Footsball game on, the University of Utah won the game! but I didn’t watch too long because I kinda thought it was boring. And I didn’t have any Swiss Army watches to play with either… so I played with Sadie!

Sadie was super fun to play with! She was a rescue dog like me and she got this super great home with the Mum’s lady she works with, and her guy too! And Sadie is fun, she stayed with us a while ago and we got to play at my house, and now we got to play at her new house! They have a super huge back yard and we ran and ran and ran in the snow until we were wet and tired!

And the Hoomans watched us play too and they thought we were really fun to watch. Oh and I only chased one of the kitties once. And the Mum said I wasn’t supposed to chase the kitties, but I did it anyway it’s too hard not to when they run!
Then after the play and the Footsball Sadie and me got to chew pig ears!

And I chewed too, but I kinda had more fun rolling on the pig ear than chewing it!

And we had lots of fun at the Pawty! The Mum was very happy that I got to come, and so was Sadie! And then on the way home in the car I slept the whole way because I was really super tired. I hope to go play with Sadie again soon!
Sasha is Happy!
Today we went and visited Sasha! I haven’t told you guys yet but my foster sister Sasha went to live with another foster family and brothers and sister. And she is really happy there. The Mum says she cried a little bit when she dropped Sasha off at the new family, but they are a super nice family and they have three rough collies there already, and Sasha is way happy there!

And I got to play with Sasha’s foster brothers and foster sister! They are super fun and pretty collies and we had a really good time. I like Bonnie, she’s the tricolored girl who likes to run and play with me! The Mum came too and took these fun pictures of us when we played in the snow.

One of the boy collie’s names is Fletcher, and dangit now I can’t remember the other boy collie’s name! Hrmph! The Mum says she isn’t remembering either oh well I guess we will have to ask again. I just know that they were both fun to play with and chase around!
The Mum thinks that Bonnie is really a pretty girl too! The Mum says she usually doesn’t like the black tris as much as the sables and blues and whites but Bonnie is super pretty! But of course I was the prettiest one of them all!
The Mum and I came home and loaded up these fun pictures on our laptop so we can share them with everyone. Sasha is happy too, and that makes me happy too, and the Mum too. Monday night Sasha is gonna come stay with us again because Tuesday she is going to the doggie doctor to get her teeths cleaned up and find out what the stuff on her nose is. Hrmph well then we get to play some more, yay!

It’s been raining all day today, and it rained most of yesterday, and it’s gonna rain again tomorrow. At least so the weather-guesser says. And so does the Mum. When it rains even if the Mum goes outside and calls us we say No Way and all stand in the doorway in the same spot.
Before I came to live here when I lived in Houston, I thought the rain was okay.. and when I came to live here in my bestest foreverhome I’d go outside and play and run in the rain.. but Lucy, Levi, Angel and Chase would look at me funny so one day I asked them, why do you look at me funny when I’m out in the rain?
They all said well, don’t you know that collies and border collies melt in the rain?
I said WHAT?! I didn’t know! I never have felt melty before but I didnt’ want to risk it anymore and so now I stay indoors whenever it’s raining outside. And then when Muffit came to live with us I asked him one day, ’cause he came from someplace else, if collies and border collies melt in the rain, and he said yep, we do!
Glitter and Chip may not melt in the rain… they are shelties and they run right out and potty even when it’s raining hard. And I haven’t seen any sign of them melting at all. So I guess it’s just collies and border collies that melt in the rain and shelties don’t.
The Mum says that Glitter and Chip are just more polite to go out in the rain and potty and that their Mum is better at teaching them potty than she is… but I dunny. Maybe some of my sheltie blogging friends will come and tell me, do shelties melt in the rain?
The Mum finally got some pictures of me playing with Chip! Muffit kinda started it though… and doesn’t it kinda look like we are fighting instead of playing? Chip likes to show all his teeth when he plays, but I’m not fooled! Chase is the same way, I think I’ve posted about that before. Probably before the Mum went on her European cruises.. and left me behind!
I was able to get him good on his neck, and the Mum snapped a picture just at the right time! It looks like I’m biting him and he’s yelling in pain, and he’s gonna whip around and bite me back! But he didn’t, he just played with me back! And Muffit likes playing too. We all have a great time!
He is a fancy sheltie boy with all his long fuzzy hair, kinda like my white sheltie friend Reilly. Fuzzy shelties sure are fun to have around and play with! I wish I could play with Reilly, too. I just get to play with Chip while he is here hanging out with us.
We are all kinda tired now and snoozing after our big play fight!
This is my friend Glitter! She is fun to hang out with. She and Chip came to visit us for a week! A whole week of sleepovers!
I like to play with them. Mostly I like to play with Chip but the Mum hasn’t taken any pictures of me and Chip playing yet, though.
I share the couch with Glitter just a little bit. Not too much, ’cause it’s my couch, and my house, and my home theater carpeting, though we don’t have much carpet anymore. Instead we have tile and soft tile and floors because Lucy and Angel don’t know how to potty outside as good anymore. But that’s okay ’cause we love them anyway!
I had a training class today, and I’ll tell you about it later. Right now I’m super tired because the Mum and Aunt Edie made me think really hard. And wanted me to do stuff in a different way and the treats were waaaay over across the room and not in my nose. I want them in my nose! Okay well in my mouth, not really in my nose. 
Last night when I got home from doing flyball practice with Muffit, Chase and Levi (oh yeah and the Mum too) I walked in and met this fun black nose! She is cute and her name is Sadie and she came for a sleepover and to play.
We didn’t ask her if she had any term life insurance because we just wanted her to come and play instead and not worry about busy stuff like that! So she came, and we played! And this morning we woke up the Dad because our playing was pretty loud. And she likes Muffit too, but I wanted to play with her more. And so I’d dart in and bark and nip at her and she’d turn and play with me too!
This is a funny picture, it kinda looks like Muffit has a new head. LOL. The Mum takes silly pictures sometimes. But playing with Sadie is fun and she has to go home today, which will be sad, and we hope that she will come back again soon. Sadie is living in a foster home and she needs a forever home. Kinda like my brothers. So if you are looking to adopt a sweet black pretty girl, you can tell me and I’ll tell her!
