So yesterday the Mum took me all day and we went and did fun stuff. We did agility and flyball and the jumps are getting more interesting. But it’s because that the Mum is bringing tuna with! Ooo tuna is my favorite. The Mum says I may have been a cat in a prior life because I like fishes so much to eat.
Last Wednesday we went to lessons and the Mum gave me okay so so treats and then she brought out the Tuna Brownies…. Oooo then I got interested! The Mum has to laugh at me because I go so much faster for tuna than I do anything else. Maybe I could use the Kansas City job search to find a job in Tuna or something, because it’s so yummy to eat.
So the Mum says she wants to make the jumps in agility and flyball more fun for me, well if she keeps using Tuna to help me get over them, I will like them much way better!
So the Mum was talking to me the other day and she said “Tatum, we should be ready for agility by next March!” And I looked at her and didn’t know that she would be right or not, because that’s far and that’s close and we’ll need to practice a lot until then, so the Mum learns how to tell me where to go! Maybe if we both were wearing a Bluetooth headset she could whisper it to me when we are running amok around.
This isn’t my Mum in this picture, this is my Aunt Edie who teaches my Mum how to tell me where to go. And this is the dog walk and I think it’s a really super fun thing to walk on. But it’s gonna get cold really soon and so we won’t have the nice green grass to run on anymore. And the snow is too slippery. And so we won’t be able to practice so the Mum knows what she’s doing.
But either way it’ll be fun. I have been to the agility places before and they are not scary, they are really fun and I eat lots of treats there. OH and the Mum made Tuna Brownies (my very favorites!) and put them on top of the fridge last night and forgot them there, so I have been smelling them all day and I really want some now!
So me and my brother Jet like to play. We run around the yard and that’s really fun, and he chases me but he can’t catch me! The Mum says wait a few months and he will be able to catch me but I dunno, my legs are much longer than his. 
I’ve been doing more agility practice and it’s pretty fun. The Mum says maybe we will all buy an RV someday and get some rv insurance and go travel around to do agility. That would be fun. But last Sunday when I did agility there was a jump that had a funny green yellow and black jump bar and I didn’t like that one so wanted to go around instead of over. But the Mum said I needed to go over them all!
So I did go over that jump eventually for a treat and it wasn’t any different than the other jumps. And I love going over the teeter it’s so fun! And I like the dog walk too. I did three jumps then the teeter, then three more jumps then the dog walk. All in kinda a circle.
But the Mum sometimes looses me if I don’t know where she is going so she says she has something to teach me that will help, I guess we’ll see what that is!
We had another agility day and it was lots and lots of fun. There were no Apricot trees there, but the weather and the grass was super nice and we had fun! It was just close to home so I got to come home at night.
The Mum took me to the dirty area again and we did some stick following with the tuna brownies on it again, which was fun! And the Mum said that I did good staying in once place while she walked around. That’s kinda boring but if I wait long enough she will give me some yummy treats.
And then we do recalls too, where I sit there and then she says ‘Tatum Come!’ and if I run to her super fast I get to eat more tuna brownies and I like those a lot!
My brothers Levi and Chase got to do agility and they had fun too. I want to do agililty but I need more practice on the agility stuff and I hope to get that this summer! I’ll learn it all and be the best one there!
So the Mum has been trying to teach me something with the clicker and the tennis ball but I’m not quite figuring out what she is trying to teach me to do yet. Sometimes I just want to put my Bluetooth headset on and ignore her, but when she gets the treats out then it’s oh so hard to ignore her!
This picture is of me biting the Mum’s shirt but I don’t think that is what she wants me to do! I open my mouth by the tennis ball and I get a click and a treat but then sometimes the Mum doesn’t give me a click until she pushes the tennis ball right into my mouth! But I don’t get it quite yet. I know I will, as long as the Mum keeps teaching me, but sometimes it’s hard to have anything at all in my mouth when the next thing to go in is a yummy dog log treat! Dog log is my favorite treat too. Sometimes the Mum gives me other stuff but I just like dog log!
Oh I like tuna too. I like to steal big chunks of tuna off her salad when she’s not lookin’! LOL!
So the Mum got this new weird thing from a place called Running is Cleaning or something and she wants me and Muffit to do something with it (not at the same time) but I’m not sure exactly what she wants me to do.
Lick It?
So I figured out that it has yummy stuff that comes out if I lick it but the Mum kept wiggling it and so I tried to bite at it but she wiggled it some more! Eventually the Mum was wiggling it so much that I got a grip of it with my back teeth and I squeezed… and guess what?! Lots of yummy stuff came out! But then I thought Cool so I licked it some more!
Bite it?
So I grabbed it with my front teeth too but that didn’t do much good to get the treats out, so I kinda figured out that if I scruntch it with my back teeth like I’m some big tough moving trucks then I can get more stuff out!
But I still thought it was more efficient to lick the yummy stuff off once I squished some out!
So Like I said I still don’t know quite what the Mum wants me to do with this but if I squish it with my back teeth then lick it that seems to work pretty good! I hope the Mum gets this yummy thing out again so we can play with it some more! I like eating treats out of stuff!
Then the Mum had me go over and back over the jump thingy too that is supposed to be for flyball and that was fun, then I rubbed my head in her and played with Muffit some now it’s time for a nap!
I Like To Read
Yup, I like to read. The Mum left out this cool flier for me the other day and I made sure that I gave it a good read. Though the Mum says that she can’t read stuff very well after I read it. I read about Movado watches and sales of dog treats and even things the Mum might be interested in.
Reading is really fun, do you like to read?
Oh and hey, with Sasha gone and my other friend boy gone (who I’m not supposed to talk about for a while, it’s a secret!) our house is kinda boring now. But I played with Muffit and Chase a little bit today. And now we are all sleeping and taking it easy. The Mum says she’ll try to remember to bring the camera to flyball practice tomorrow so I can show you all how good I’m doing!
I did have fun at training yesterday and I got to learn this thing called a Broad Jump and I wanted to walk on it instead of jump over it but it sounded scary and so I jumped and the Mum gave me a treat for it. Yum! The Mum says I can do three jumps in a row now and that is really good! Soon I’ll be able to do a hundred!
We had a busy weekend and I didn’t have any time to post anything at all! The Mum took me, Muffit, Levi and Chase out to an agility trial! 
It was fun and Sunday we got to run and run and run on the grassy area a little bit too. The Mum says, though, it’s hard to let all four of us run when Muffit and I don’t come back very well yet. But we just like to run!
The Mum didn’t even get any pictures of me she only got some of Muffit when he was lying on his mat. Though he did a really good job and he didn’t keep me awake in my crate all day! He was really quite in his own crate! The Mum was happy with him too. And he doesn’t much like to wear his gentle leader but the Mum says it helps him a lot instead of choking him on his collar.
Me and the Mum went and practiced something called Rally-O. And i didn’t really know what she wanted me to do, but I followed her around and I wanted to sniff all the signs that were out. So the Mum let me sniff some of them and then said “Tatum let’s work!” and working is usually fun ’cause I learn stuff and get to eat lots of treats. But I was really distracted because there was agility going on and lots of dogs around so it was kinda hard for me. But the Mum was glad my tail stayed up and I stayed happy the whole time and I did!
So it was fun and no one got hurt with cerebral palsy so that was really good. Chase and Levi won the Mum a lot of ribbons and that makes the Mum very happy!
Today I went with the Mum, Chase, Muffit and Angel to flyball practice. Angel got to come ’cause the Mum says she doesn’t get to go out much and she really likes to come and say hi to people and eat treats. And Chase’s tooth is better so he got to play tug. And Muffit got to go to and the Mum thinks he is doing better with all the distractions!
And so lookit what I got to do! Finally the dumb Mum remembered to ask Aunt Christy to take pictures of me as I’m learning the jumps and aren’t I cute! And I’m fast too!

Then when I see the Mum call me from the other side of the jumps, and then the Mum runs off and I just have to chase her! And I go over all four jumps and it’s fun! The Mum wasn’t running at first and that was kinda boring so I’d go run off by myself but then when the Mum started to run, I ran too!

Lookit me go! It’s super fun to learn to go over jumps! The Mum says I am a really fast collie girl when I want to be. And yup that’s true, it’s when I want to be! I like to do things my own way and then it’s fun!

And aren’t I just the cutest collie you’ve ever seen doing flyball jumps! The jumps don’t have any ball lock pins, they are just wood aren’t they neato?
A Treat For Reward!
And then at the end of the jumps the Mum gives me yummy treats! They are super good to eat and so I stop and eat them right up!
So I get to do flyball more in a couple of weeks! I hope the Mum starts to teach me how to do the box… she says the prop thingy she had isn’t tall enough and I just walk over it, I don’t jump. So if she’d ever remember to have the Dad make a taller one, then we could learn more!
I like flyball and learning. Though I like to do it how I want to. But the Mum says if we are going to compete then I have to learn her rules. Well, I guess I’ll do that too then! Flyball is fun!
