Okay so this just totally not fair… do you see the bed that Lucy is laying in? Well, that’s my new bed, and she doesn’t even fit! She’s too big! Maybe she could get some discount rugs to lay on because I really want my bed back. And I have a nasty look on my face too, don’t I?
Lucy thinks that she owns the house and that she is pack marm… and the Mum and the Dad say that she is too, but sometimes I just think I should be and I let Lucy know it. But the Mum and the Dad say I have to take a time out in a crate when I do that. So I don’t do it very often, only when I forget and I’m really tired. But still, I like my new bed that the Mum bought me and I want it to be all mine!
The Mum doesn’t give us nearly enough chewies at home… well, not nearly enough bully sticks chewies anyway. She says they are expensive to get for all seven of us. So we only get them once in a while but I really like the a lot!

Maybe we will get more now that a local store, Ma and Paws Bakery, sells them and they are thick and yummy from there! Maybe I can go trick or treating for bully sticks at Halloween… I should make up some Halloween invitations so people know I’m coming! Oh wait maybe that’s not how it works…
The Mum brought a pool home yesterday too, she needs to take some pictures of me in it… though I don’t get in it very much!
This is my big sister Lucy and she eats in this chair that my Dad built for her. My Dad used a box cutter and some old wood we’ve had for a long time (the wood is older than me!) and he put some pads and things on it so that it would be comfortable for her.
My sister Lucy has something called megaesophagus and I don’t know what that is really but it means she has to eat in this chair and she gets to eat four times a day! I only get to eat two times a day so that’s not really fair. And Lucy gets to eat food that goes grrr grrr in this weird machine first and it gets all soft and watery.
I try to eat some of it when the Mum or the Dad pours it in Lucy’s bowl. But they don’t let me lick very much. But it’s super yummy! I think it’s better than my food but the Mum tells me it’s the same food just with water and blended. But I think she’s lying so that I won’t try to eat it. But I do try anyway!
So Lucy is okay to have around but sometimes she thinks she is alpha and I want to be alpha and we have some issues but I think I will win someday!
I like being a smooth collie. And sometimes I like to lie in the sun and yawn. The Mum was doing some weird stuff on Sunday and she picked up all our dog beds and put them outside in the sun. And so I went and laid outside in the sun on the beds! And I had a big yawn and the Mum caught this picture right in the middle of my big yawn!
Then my brother Levi, in front of me, and my sister Lucy, in back of me, decided they would come and lay in the sun too. Lucy got another of the dog beds, but Levi laid on the stones of the patio. And the Mum, inside, was making loud noises she called vacuuming, and soft noises she called dusting, and scratchy noises she called mopping.
So us collies stayed outside on the beds and let her do all the work! But we didn’t even get any bones, because the Mum says Lucy isn’t feeling well and she has to eat her food like every half hour through the day. Man… I want some of that food too, but the Mum doesn’t let any of us have any except Lucy. But Lucy seems to be feeling better ’cause she still won’t let me be boss girl. But I do so want to be boss girl sometimes! I like being boss! But the Mum the Dad and Lucy are all bosses so far. Oh well. I’ll get them to let me be boss someday!
I just wanted to show you this cute picture of me and my sister Lucy. Lucy is the pack marm though I really want to be. I usually respect her place but sometimes I want to push her around and I try really really hard to listen to the Mum and not push her around but.. it can be hard.
Lucy doesn’t let me push her around, though, she growls and snarls and doesn’t let me. Gah! It’s frustrating. But I do like Lucy a lot, and the Mum says she’s sick and might have cancer and might not be with us very much longer. But for now Lucy is still boss and I have to listen to what she says!
