Tatum Tot Spice

So the Mum says that my baby brother is coming next week! I’m so excited! Look at him sleeping though… he must be a lazy boy. His litter mate brother is also in the picture looking off at something else.  I hope my sleepy brother will play with me and run and run around the back yard! The Mum says I get to teach him how to do that, yay!

The Mum has been cleaning and cleaning the house all weekend to get ready for my brother. She says she wants to make our house safe for him so he won’t chew on any cords or knobs or anything that can really hurt him.

So our house is nice and safe and smells good! Though someone pooped on the tile upstairs already but I’m not sayin’ who it was!

So some people might think that I have a long nose. Well, I don’t really have a nose that’s longer than any other collie! But when the Mum takes silly pictures of me, my nose does look long! But I like my nose it’s really good for getting into bags and purses and stuff to get the treats outs!

Lucy, Levi and Angel might have a Blue Advantage over me, since they are blue merles, but I think I got them beat in the cute department because I’m a smooth sable collie. Plus I have more spunk than they do, at least that’s what the Mum tells me!

I’m just glad the Mum doesn’t mind when I get her to play by nipping at her clothes. Though she’s told me that she needs to line up all the clothes that I’ve put holes in and take a picture of them all, because I do such a good job of it and it’s kinda my signature mark!

So if you come to our house you better watch out because I might just bite you in the butt too!

So I’ve been doing fun stuff again but not as much as I’d like to do because the Mum still says she has to take it easy sometimes. But we did go to the dog park today and that was lots of fun. Though the icky loud lawnmower was going at our house before hand and I hid in the basement because I don’t like it anymore. But I won’t tell why!

But the park was fun and we got to run around and sniff other dogs. And sometimes I can’t see very well and I lose sight of the Mum and the Dad but then the Mum calls me and she yells “Taaaaatooooooo” or “Taaaatteeeeerrrrs” or “Taaaaatuuuuuuuum”, that last one is my real name, and then when I hear here I can find her again pretty easy. The Mum wants to take me to a doggie eye doctor because she says I don’t see very well but I don’t like the doctor! Hrmph. I don’t like auto insurance quotes either but the Mum gets to deal with those, not me!

Anyway we did some walking out front where I followed a straw (the Mum lost her stick) and eat treats and that’s fun too. This week might be boring though, so lets chew bully sticks!

See how teeny tiny I am way out there in the baseball field? I don’t know what baseball is but I think it’s for a lot of running because it’s a great big field, and it’s fun to run! After we did flyball my brother Chase and me got to run and run and it’s one of my favorite things to do!

I don’t even need the best weight loss pills becuase I just run and run and it keeps me nice and skinny, that’s what the Mum says anyway.

I also got to do some agility last yesterday and it was fun too! The Mum says I’m too advanced for the beginning agility class. Well I could have told you that because I’m smart and I learn stuff fast. So I did jump, tunnel, jump and I didn’t even want to hide in the tunnel this time so I just ran out and wagged my tail and it was fun! My Aunt Edie says she’s so happy with all that I’m learning and doing and she’s proud of me. That’s so cool ’cause I like my Aunt Edie!

So the other day I caught Angel in my nest! Hrmph! This is Angel… if you didn’t know. And the Mum took a picture of her in my nest for you all to see. I let her lay in it for a little while, but she got up pretty soon! So check out my way fun nest now! It’s lots bigger. I fit right in it. Angel’s but kinda falls in. Mine does too but I like it!

Maybe I’ll get some custom rubber stamps and I can stamp cool stuff on my nest too! I wonder if the Mum and the Dad would care. They pretty much let me do anything I want except chew up shoes and steal food off their plates. (Okay there are other rules too but I won’t talk about them!)

So this is my fun nest and I sleep in it every night. It’s my smooth collie nest and it’s comfy. Proof because even Angel likes to sleep in it.  Sometimes Chase does too.

The Mum says she’s going to take this couch to the dump and I say noooo! It’s my nest!

It snowed here again today. Snow! I like the Snow but the Mom is tired of it. And it sure is fun to run on the grass and in the sun!

This picture of me was from last fall when it was nice and cool and the grass was still green. I get to do lots of fun stuff this year when it warms up too! The Mum teaches me more stuff when it’s warm out, and I like that. And then it memory stick… errr.. it sticks in my memory, good too, when we work outside where it’s warm!

Do you like the warm or the cold? I like to sleep in snuggly warm spots, and run in cool spots so I don’t get too hot!

Hey so we went to flyball practice yesterday and it was fun. The Mum said that I’m doing so good over the jumps!  I kinda know how to hop over the prop and back and the Mum has a flyball box again so she is going to show me how to do that part and so I can do the whole thing! Though I am not too good at catching balls… I guess I’ll have to practice that a little bit. I’m much better at being cute and eating pig ears!

We got to play again in the area that has PVC fence around it so we didn’t run out and get lost. And that was fun. I ran and ran and ran and bunny hopped too, and then got home and had a good nap because it made me tired!

The Mum says once the sun is up more at night than in the morning (I don’t know what that means, isn’t the sun always up the same time?) that we can go practice agility every week. Yay!

So the Mum came home today and then Aunt Christy came over and she brought Charlie with! Charlie is a border collie girl who has been at the shelter for three months. That’s a long time! A really nice lady at the shelter liked Charlie and wanted to save her, so, she contacted Utah Collie Rescue. And even though UCR usually only does collies like me, we are gonna have Charlie stay with us a couple of days until she can go to another foster home with Border Collie Rescue.

The Mum didn’t get very good pictures of her but she wants to post more over on her blog Tip Tail, anyway. But this is Charlie. And she’s black and white and a little bit fat! She didn’t want to eat dinner, but us dogs don’t like to eat much when we come to a new home, so that’s okay. She can eat later. She has enough fat to last her a while anyway! LOL She’s not skinny like me!So when Charlie came to explore the back yard, I used all my good play moves on her but she didn’t play with me. Hrmph! Well, she better.

But I’m boss of her, and just a couple of minutes ago I let her know… I growled at her then I bit at her and made her run away! The Mum said I was a bad girl and wasn’t supposed to do that to foster dogs. Charlie just was a wimp and ran from me. She didn’t even fight back! Which is good because I’m boss girl here (we won’t talk about Lucy) and I get to tell all the other dogs what to do!

But I’ll try to be nice to her.  The Mum says she hasn’t had a home like I have for the last year and a half. But I was also worried that Charlie would eat some of the Tuna the Mum had. I really like Tuna and I want it all for me! I even got a big chunk of it out of the Mum’s salad before she knew it!  He he. I like to do that.

I know I put up more pictures of me than of Charlie but hey, I’m cuter anyways.  He he.  I’m a collie girl!

This has been a busy weekend for the Mum so she hasn’t turned the laptop on for me so I can post. And I went with today to the agility trial and the Mum had me do some mat stuff that was fun. And guess who we saw?

This is Sonny isn’t he almost as pretty as me? He’s a smooth sable collie just like me and he’s a boy and he’s fun to hang out with!

And at home my cousin Layla came to visit and we played! That was way fun too, she is a very tiny puppy but I didn’t bounce on her too much, and Muffit didn’t either!

Then after we played we had a good nap on the dog shelf, even though the Mum didn’t get a good in focus picture! Oh well, she’s the Mum so what can I say. Anyway, I’m going to nap now I’m tired too!

So the Mum got this new weird thing from a place called Running is Cleaning or something and she wants me and Muffit to do something with it (not at the same time) but I’m not sure exactly what she wants me to do.

Lick It?

So I figured out that it has yummy stuff that comes out if I lick it but the Mum kept wiggling it and so I tried to bite at it but she wiggled it some more!  Eventually the Mum was wiggling it so much that I got a grip of it with my back teeth and I squeezed… and guess what?! Lots of yummy stuff came out! But then I thought Cool so I licked it some more!

Bite it?

So I grabbed it with my front teeth too but that didn’t do much good to get the treats out, so I kinda figured out that if I scruntch it with my back teeth like I’m some big tough moving trucks then I can get more stuff out!

But I still thought it was more efficient to lick the yummy stuff off once I squished some out!

So Like I said I still don’t know quite what the Mum wants me to do with this but if I squish it with my back teeth then lick it that seems to work pretty good!  I hope the Mum gets this yummy thing out again so we can play with it some more! I like eating treats out of stuff!

Then the Mum had me go over and back over the jump thingy too that is supposed to be for flyball and that was fun, then I rubbed my head in her and played with Muffit some now it’s time for a nap!
