Sasha
So the Mum calls me from work (okay she really called the Dad but I listened in) and told us that we are going to get a foster sister! Her name is Sasha and her people couldn’t keep her anymore and so dropped her off at the Utah Humane Society. I don’t know if Sasha was a very happy girl or not… the Humane Society people said that her nose is all scarred from her rubbing it on a chain link fence.
And that is just kinda super sad. So she might have had to live outdoors instead of inside with a loving family. And the family that left her didn’t leave any information about her… but the nice lady at HSU said that she might not know to potty outside instead of inside (but sometimes I forget to do that too) and that’s okay at our house.
The Mum says we might need some wholesale shampoo because when long fuzzy haired rough collies come to us right from a shelter, they can be matted and even stinky. So the Mum says tonight she is gonna probably be giving brushes and baths. So I better hide in case the Mum decides that I need a bath too. I don’t like baths but I like when our foster brothers and sisters smell better!
I’ll let you know tomorrow how Sasha is and if she will play with me. I just have to tell my brother Chase to be nice to her because the HSU is not a fun place to have to stay… my brother Muffit stayed there for a while and he got super sick and he says it wasn’t fun at all, a home is a much better place. So I’m excited to meet Sasha!

My Brother Quinn
Oh my my oh gosh! I have two brothers too and they are named Quinn and Major! The Mum has said for ever that she wants to name a boy dog Quinn sometime. So I said why don’t we bring Major and Quinn to us and live here in our home? The Mum says we can’t, we have six of us dogs already and only two hoomans and we need more hoomans and not so many dogs? No that is not what the Mum meant! But we are a lot of dogs and even though the Mum would love more dogs to love she says she doesn’t have time or enough money. I don’t know what money is but but there is never enough time to play!

My Brother Major
While we all need
exit signs to make sure we get out of scary situations, what we need most of all is to be brave. And the Mum has been teaching me how to be brave. And sometimes she says now I’m too brave when I bite her in the butt! But she laughs and giggles and so I know it’s okay. And I wish my brothers would find great wonderful homes soon. I’ve been in my home now for over a year. That is a lot of time! And I’m sad that Major and Quinn have not been in a home of their own yet. That is super sad. Though they do have a loving foster home but still, forever homes are better than foster homes.
So if you want to adopt a wonderful smooth collie boy please consider Major and Quinn! They are here on this website at South West Collie Rescue.
I love my brothers Major and Quinn and I still wish they could come live with us. But the Mum says when she does rescue, and especially when she rescues us collies, that she just can’t help falling in love with us. And I know what she means ’cause I am so lovable! And fun and spunky and cute! So hopefully someone will give Quinn and Major forever homes soon. The Mum here is crying because she can’t bring them here to live with us… Ooo no crying Mum!
